Imperium Boxing defeat Polish champions in season finale
In the final match of the 2025 Polish Boxing League season, Imperium Boxing Wałbrzych beat KB Legia Warszawa 12-6. The Warsaw team won the Polish title, while the Wałbrzych club took bronze. WKB RUSHH Kielce claimed silver. A medal ceremony followed Sunday’s match.
Legia won 10 matches in a row but suffered four defeats toward the end of the season. Their 20 points were enough to secure the title. They finished ahead of WKB RUSHH Kielce and Imperium Boxing on the head-to-head tiebreaker. Both of those teams also collected 20 points.
At the Wałbrzych Champions Hall, the hosts’ winners were Jakub Krzpiet at 60 kg, Bartłomiej Przybyła at 65 kg, Mike Drużga at 70 kg, Petro Lakotskyi at 80 kg, Dawid Tkacz at 85 kg and Paweł Sajda at +90 kg.
Legia arrived in Lower Silesia with five debutants and two boxers who had fought just once before, because several fighters were dealing with health issues. On Sunday, the newly crowned Polish champions were led by Alexey Sevostyanov at 90 kg (10-2 record) and Bohdan Gorgol at 75 kg (6-0). Debutant Istvan Szaka also won.
In the season’s final bout, at +90 kg, Paweł Sajda (10-4) beat debutant Mateusz Sikora.
