Pomorzanin Beat Wisłok to Draw Level on Points with Imperium
Pomorzanin Boxing Team Toruń beat RKB Wisłok 1995 Rzeszów 14-4 in Saturday’s Polish Boxing League round 12 match. It was the Toruń team’s seventh win of the season. With 14 points, they drew level with third-placed Imperium Boxing Wałbrzych.
The hosts led 10-2 after six bouts, putting the result beyond doubt. At 75 kg, Maks Sakhnenko defeated Przemysław Kwiatkowski by RSC in the third round. At 80 kg, Jakub Maścianica won a unanimous points decision over Michał Ożga.
The Toruń team extended their lead in the closing bouts. At 90 kg, Łukasz Puczyński defeated Kacper Brzozowski by RSC in the third round. At over 90 kg, Radosław Kawczak beat Wiktor Skiba 3-0.
On Friday, Golden Team Nowy Sącz’s boxers recorded their first win of the season, springing a surprise with a 10-8 victory over CKB Potężnie Ciechocinek.
Two matches on Sunday could decide the 2025 Polish championship. League leaders Legia Warszawa will face Concordia Knurów, who have been performing well in the autumn round.
WKB Rushh Kielce, four points behind Legia, will face Imperium Boxing Wałbrzych. KB Legia will clinch the title if they win and the Kielce team lose.
In the penultimate, 13th round, WKB Rushh Kielce will host KB Legia Warszawa. The match will take place in Kielce on November 22.
