Concordia Knurów remains the best team in the second half of the Polish Boxing League season. On Friday evening, it beat second-placed WKB Rushh Kielce 10-8.

The Knurów team had previously won 10-8 away to CKB Potężnie in Ciechocinek, then beaten RKB Wisłok 1995 Rzeszów and Imperium Boxing Wałbrzych 12-6 apiece. It has now defeated Rushh, which missed a chance to close the gap on league leader KB Legia Warszawa. The gap remains four points, with three rounds of matches left in the season.

In the postponed match from round 11, Kacper Słomka secured the hosts’ first win at 55 kg. Boxers from Kielce won the next two bouts: Paweł Brach at 60 kg and Elvin Aliiev at 65 kg. That was the last time WKB Rushh led.

Concordia then won four bouts in a row to secure the team victory, taking a 10-4 lead. Damian Durkacz beat Nikodem Szafarz on points at 70 kg. At 75 kg, Mateusz Wojtasiński quickly defeated Karol Pawlik, who retired early in the bout.

The Kielce boxers won the two heaviest weight classes. Ashot Kocharian beat Wojciech Jordan at 90 kg. The Concordia boxer received two standing counts, and the bout lasted two minutes. At +90 kg, Jakub Domurad beat Janusz Chrzanowski on points.
