Wardyn tops the Polish Boxing League’s +90 kg rankings

Polish championship runner-up Paweł Wardyn of CKB Potężnie Ciechocinek tops the Polish Boxing League’s +90 kg rankings. He has won five bouts and lost one.
A few months ago, Wardyn, representing Skorpion Szczecin at the Polish championships, lost the +92 kg final to Oskar Safaryan of Concordia Knurów by a 3-2 split decision. Different weight limits applied at the time. The reigning national champion did not compete in the first round of the Polish Boxing League. Wardyn, who boxes for Ciechocinek in the league, performed very well.
Ciechocinek’s postponed matchup with Toruń promises to be interesting. Pomorzanin Boxing Team’s boxers in this weight class include Vitalii Burlak (2-0), Radosław Kawczak (2-0) and Łukasz Szmajda (1-0).
Behind Wardyn in the rankings are Oskar Kopera of Legia Warszawa (4-1) and Michał Fiedler of Concordia Knurów (3-1). The leader’s only loss came against Fiedler.
Jakub Domurad of Rushh Kielce and Paweł Sajda of Imperium Boxing Wałbrzych also have three wins apiece. The former has lost twice and the latter four times.
