Our juniors will bring home six medals from the European Youth Championships in Budva, Montenegro. In addition to Barbara Marcinkowska (69 kg) and Daria Parada (75 kg), who secured their medals through the draw, and Natalia Kuczewska (48 kg), who advanced to the medal stage on the third day of competition, Alexas Kubicka (51 kg), Izabela Rozkoszek (57 kg) and Julia Szeremeta (60 kg) will also step onto the podium.

The first of them dominated Spain’s Zuleima Gonzalez Mederos on Tuesday, winning by RSC in the first round. The second defeated Ukraine’s Yuliia Honcherenko yesterday. She was leading on points when her opponent was disqualified in the third round. The third comfortably outpointed host representative Nela Radenović on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wiktoria Tereszczak (64 kg) and Oliwia Toborek (+81 kg) bid farewell to the tournament. The Polish fighters lost to Russians: Wiktoria was stopped by Azalia Amineva via RSC in the second round, while Oliwia lost to Tatiana Bogdanova on points, 1–4.
