Masternak returns to the ring. Suzuki Boxing Night II gala in Kielce

After more than three months away due to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, Poland’s top female and male Olympic boxers are returning to competition. Tomorrow, June 26, 2020, the Suzuki Boxing Night II gala will be held at the Kielce Cultural Centre.
The main event will be a professional bout. Mateusz Masternak (91 kg), who has Olympic ambitions, will face Ukraine’s Sergiy Radchenko. The opponent is well known to Polish fans. He competed in the WSB league for Hussars Poland and, as a professional, has boxed against leading Polish fighters including Krzysztof Głowacki, Michał Cieślak, Adam Balski and, recently, Artur Szpilka.
One more international bout is also on the card. Damian Durkacz (63 kg) will meet technically skilled Slovak Michal Takacs. The boxer is known, among other things, for his bout against Adrian Kowal at the European Olympic Qualification Tournament for the Rio de Janeiro Games. The competition took place four years ago in Samsun.
Members of the national team will also appear in the ring. There should certainly be no shortage of excitement.
