In the main event of Nosalowy Dwór Knockout Boxing Night 4 in Zakopane, Krzysztof Włodarczyk (56-4-1, 39 KO) gave Al’ Sands (20-4, 18 KO) no chance whatsoever. The American lost in the second round after… a left jab. It was “Diablo’s” third fight and third victory of the year.

The first round began calmly. It was cautious, as is often the case in bouts involving Włodarczyk. Sands tried to attack, but his punches posed no real threat. In the second round, “Diablo” picked up the pace slightly. At one point, he threw a left jab that caught the American. Sands went down and writhed in pain. He managed to get up briefly, but moments later he dropped to his knees again. The referee stopped the fight.

Patryk Szymański (19-1, 10 KO), working under Andrzej Gmitruk, was supposed to begin a new stage of his career. Instead, he suffered a painful upset and his first professional defeat. He unexpectedly lost to the tough, though not particularly hard-hitting, Fouad El Massoudi (15-11, 2 KO). In the very first round, the fighters clashed heads. Perhaps the incident affected the boxer from Konin. From the third round onward, the Frenchman launched a determined attack and began to gain a clear advantage. The upset became reality in the fourth round. Szymański was stopped after a combination finished with a right hand. He got back to his feet, but his corner decided to stop the fight.

Fiodor Czerkaszyn (11-0, 7 KO) proved that he can not only score quick knockouts but also box the full distance. The Ukrainian comfortably defeated the ever-tough Bartłomiej Grafka (21-32-3, 10 KO). The first round was exploratory. In the second, Grafka’s legs buckled after an excellent left hook from Czerkaszyn. The Pole took notice and sheltered behind a tight guard. From the third round, Fiodor Łapin’s charge increasingly targeted the body with hooks. He finished longer combinations of lighter punches with a single, hard shot. He also looked for the right uppercut and found the target twice, but Grafka very rarely hits the canvas. In the second half of the fight, the Pole tried to close the distance. The faster and more technically skilled Czerkaszyn nevertheless controlled the bout with straight punches. The good fight ended in a wide victory for Fiodor: 79:73 and 80:72 twice.

Damian Kiwior (4-0) made a successful start to his professional career in Poland. In Zakopane, he defeated previously unbeaten Gkourama Mirzajewa (3-1, 2 KO). The Pole began with jabs, but as early as the second round he increasingly looked for straight rights. His opponent tried to respond, but his punches were too wide. Kiwior effectively caught them on his guard. From the third round, he added punches to the body. The multiple-time Polish champion had a weaker spell in the fourth and fifth rounds, but finished strongly in the sixth. After the final bell, the judges scored the fight in his favor, 59:55 and 58:56 twice.
