Andrzej Gmitruk and Marcin Gruchała are to help Paulina Gruchała, a Boxing Team Chojnice fighter, begin her professional boxing career. Several sponsors from Chojnice will also support her preparations.

“We spoke with coach Andrzej Gmitruk during the Feliks Stamm Tournament. Yesterday, during a phone call, we agreed on when we could come to Warsaw. Paulina will continue to train and spar in Chojnice, but she will also train with the women from his team in Warsaw. She will have a test in Chojnice on November 15, and immediately afterward we will go to Warsaw for sparring,” says Marcin Gruchała.

From the start of the new year, Paulina Gruchała will be a senior. “I feel good and I am ready to try my hand at professional boxing. The level is certainly higher, so I will be able to learn more. The opportunity to train under such an outstanding coach as Mr. Andrzej is a great honor for me. I know that I will also have to put more work into my training,” Paulina said.

Born in 1997, Paulina Gruchała is a regular member of Poland’s cadet and junior national teams. She competed at the World and European Championships in those age categories. Her achievements include, among other honors, a gold medal at the 2014 Polish Youth Championships in the bantamweight division (54 kg), as well as silver in the same category a year later. In 2012, she also won gold at the National Youth Olympics in the up-to-50 kg division.
